Fine, but what about online? Browsers don't natively include converters to handle Microsoft Office's proprietary ASCII stuff.</p> <p>Fortunately, <a href="http://jonathanhedley.com/articles/2008/03/convert-microsoft-word-to-plain-text">Jonathan Hedley</a> wrote himself (and all the rest of us) a quick little javascript to do just that.
