About Me

My name is Mike Mahoney and I am the principal of Windham Advisors. I have over thirty-three years of experience in the retail and direct marketing industries. Twenty one years were spent working in companies selling direct to the public and the balance have been spent consulting to a wide of variety retailers and direct marketers.

I have worked in the woman’s fashion, men’s fashion, home décor, and the home improvement categories. I have held positions from the store level to president.

My consulting clients have included the above categories plus jewelry, juniors, and outdoors, and have been geographically located across North America, Central America, and the UK. Their annual volumes have ranged from $20 million to over $7 billion in sales.

Very often, the appropriate solution for a client involves both adjustments to its business processes and the intelligent use of existing data and information. To properly support clients I can also design and build information delivery and decision support applications to supplement the existing tools available to your business users.

Over the years I have worked with some very talented people. These colleagues, whether working with firms or independently, provide me with access to a wide variety of talents and skill sets that I can bring to a project whenever the need might arise. This network of talent has allowed me to successfully manage projects often considered too large for a small consulting firm.
